What Chicago People do at Spring Break.....

......head to the WATER PARK, of course!!

The kids had expressed many times how much they wanted to go swimming. Wisconsin is known for its water parks, and many of them are actually indoors! So, without telling the kids where we were going, we packed up for an overnight stay and headed to the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It's about a 3 hour drive from Wheaton.

The kids had a GREAT time! (So did their parents!!!) The temp in the water park was a balmy 84 degrees.

Halle was just learning to swim under water last year. It took a few minutes, but she once again found her sea legs. After this picture was taken she shed her swim vest and took off!

There were slides galore! I didn't get any pics of the big tube slides, but there were 4 of them.

And my favorite, the Turtle Tub which was actually a GIANT hot tub!

This is a shot of the outside of the resort. (Grayson was our photographer--he did a good job, huh?) It was very nice.
Turn around 180 degrees from the previous picture and get a look at Lake Michigan! Stunning!

This picture was taken in the hotel lobby.

We booked the "Kids Aquarium" room. The whole room looked like it was underwater! The kids were ecstatic! They had their own little "cove" complete with their own TV.
I can't believe that we are already at the end of Spring Break week. We had so much fun it flew by! But, I think this is a spring break the kids will remember.

What a fun place. The room looked awesome. Glad to see that a little snow wasn't going to stop some spring break fun.
